I am thinking about buying photoshop elements 4, because i had elements 2, and i thought it was great.

i have never had Paint Shop Pro, so i do not know about is ease of use, elements 2(and 4 trial) are so easy to use, and haw powerful it is.

what do you like?
what is good for web design?
what is the easyest to use?

I suppose the answer would depend on what you wish to accomplish with the software. For camera photography and related graphic work, the product you are most comfortable with would be my answer. For total control (+ steeper learning curve) PSP X gives the best bang for the buck. Check back a few days in this forum for a great deal on PSP X.

I think you have already answered your question.  You seem to like and are comfortable with PSE 4.  I have PSE 4 for the Mac and it's great.

I would suggest PSE4. Im only 11, but Ive made pretty good forum sigs, and have designed a skin for a forum. Depends on what your gonna do with it. If you're just editing family pictures, go with PSPX. If your making graphics for websites, PSE4 would do the job.

Why not download the PSP X trial, and try it. You're the only person that can answer the question of which program is better for you.

If you have PSE 2 you can get the upgrade version from Adobe.  That's what I did.
